Spring is finally here and the best part about it is the many spring dresses that have arrived. Of course spring tends to bring in the various pastel colors that fill our closets, but I took a different approach for today's post. Why not incorporate black into the picture? Yes, I know, black may seem a little bit too dark and goth for spring but not if you pair it with the right accessories. I added my comfortable wedges and accessorized with my peacock earrings; not to mention a red lip to add some color. It's perfect for a flirty, night out. Black lace!

Earthy Flirt!

From last quarter finals to spring break, let's just say it has been an adventurous journey these past two weeks. Traveling was most definitely the major key point of my escapade; from driving to the lovely Sin City to flying to the wonderful City of the Bay, San Fran, it was definitely a spring break to put in the books. Since this break had to come to an end, I've decided to enjoy what's left of it by taking in nature's beauty. I paired it with an earthy spring dress to match the lovely weather spring has given us. Nature's way!

It's been way too long since the last time I've been here, so when the moment occurred, I was most definitely a happy camper! I don't know what it is, but something about going to Disneyland just brings this warm, joyous feeling deep down inside; it's a little escape from reality, something that brings out the inner kid in you. No wonder Peter Pan didn't want to grow up! Dland my friends!

Dance Life!

This past week and weekend has been hectic to say the least, from dance practice everyday (til the am hours) to the actual competition during the weekend; it has most definitely been a journey! What can I say, it 's just the dancer life. From weeks and weeks of practice, outside in the cold, my team has been working together to put on the perfect set for our upcoming competition, USJ, at the Anaheim Convention Center. We face many prestigious teams that are in the lineup, so we had to make sure our set was amazing! We actually had a themed set that portrayed the struggles of a dancer, which was a different approach to how our sets usually are. It was definitely something new and refreshing that was performed on stage and a great way to engage with our audience. I think that's why I love dancing so much, not only do I get to enjoy something I love to do (which is to dance), but that I am able to reach out and perform to an audience about a story or feeling that's held together by choreography and emotions from within. It's grand! All in all, USJ was another fun competition that I was able to attend with my fellow teammates. Keep dancing!
